I called my local Independent Citroen Specialist to enquire about an interim oil change for my C4, 2.0Hdi (with particulate filter). He quoted £60 and when I asked what oil he used, he said 10W40. I have a Citroen C4, 1,6 HDI, 110 HP. I'll be changing the engine oil and filters soon. And I'm wondering if I should also change the gearbox oil. I've been advised by a colleague to do so - using Motul MOTYLGEAR 75w-80 oil. But on the Polish Citroen forum I found mixed opinions about it. Some say it should be done.
