Nowthat the iPhone finally supports AOD I thought I can finally keep my iPhone on a stand and glance at it during work but I noticed after awhile the iPhone AOD turns off. Is there a way to keep the screen on or should Apple rename this
TheAOD was added to bring the Apple Watch to parity with regular mechanical and digital watches. With those, you just have to glance down at your wrist to see the time. However, Apple Watches prior to the Series 5 required that you use a more deliberate āflickingā motion in order to wake the screen.Ithink the issue is that the second hand on Apple Watch is a sweeping hand instead of a tick-tick-tick hand. So that wouldnāt be possible with the display at 1hz. In ādim modeā the second hand should tick one time per second. And when you raise your hand it can go back to sweeping.
