My Honest Dead Island 2 Review. Spoliers. Played it for the past 8h with my gf, on co-op and honestly, very disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed playing Dead Island Riptide back when I played it on the ps3, even replayed it again on the Xbox Series X with my gf and got extra hyped up for the new Dead Island 2 to come out.
Co-op is not possible without at least one current gen console to host. XBone can play with a series x/s hosting. As for the multiplayer it surprised me by being co-op focused and something closer to payday 2 in structure and game play but with more far cry like options. The whole game is sorta like an urban far cry 3 with good feedback which is part of the reason I went through to beating it when I don't finish a lot of games.
When I play Coop with my friend, my dead island will say that it has stopped responding, forcing me to close it and re open it. This happens every few minutes. Is there any solution to this problem? I've run it as administrator, and my specs are more than adequate, but the game still continues to crash. This is dead island GOTY.
The FLESH system in Dead Island 2 looks absolutely insane. Like this zombie's eyes are just hanging out after getting bashed in the head by a sledgehammer, seeing bones hanging off after being struck, literally MELTING zombies. It actually made my skin crawl, so excited for release next month
