Koss has actually stuck both Porta-Pro and KSC75 drivers into other full-sized cans enclosures and sold them under different models. I only discovered this by looking at the driver after I found broken models of each. This was more common for them to do in the 80s and 90s, I don't think they are doing this any more.
headband is flexible and easily adjustable. Lightweight and comfortable design Above-average audio reproduction. frequency response consistency is very good. Porta Pro also have a better more durable design. and have a decent open sound. exceptionally well-matched in frequency. mid-range performance is very good.
But I had the senn HD497 and the porta pro. The HD497s are often compared to the sr60 or just ranked slightly under. There is a huge step between the porta pro and the senn hd497, these worth any additional bucks. The porta pro is a bit mid-bass heavy and its high are far too be as good as the cans of the higher class.
