The scrambler looks to have more road oriented tyres than the G/S yet they are rubbish, sliding everywhere feeling like they are going to tip you off. The G/S tyres look like you shouldn't use them on the road - but actually they're really good, dry or wet.
Assuming the lowering option on the Scrambler is the same as the pure, its very easy. The forks are lower with a a shorter damper rod, so you'll just need the longer damper rods and spacers. I got a set off ebay for $30. The rear is just a shorter rear shock, so you could get the stock height Scrambler or Urban off ebay for maybe $150.
