World of trucks isnt online, it is just a SCS website tracking what you do in singleplayer. For online vanilla you have to use "Convoy". Either join a server or start one yourself. WoT is just stats tracking, events every now and then, and additional contracts. Keep in mind, that ETS2 is not an MMO.
If you want to play Euro Truck simulator 2 as intended you will need to fill your tank from time to time. Locate nearest gas station, stop your truck right at the spot of canister icon, turn off engine by [E] then hold [Enter] until your tank is full or you reached the amount you wanted to fill.The only problem is the lack of steady viewing options. G29 has buttons on the wheel that can be configured to look to the left right and center, but the problem is that when you turn the wheel, the buttons are not where you left them. G27 had buttons on the shifter which was probably better for that task. #2.
